The Georgia Association of Groundwater Professionals (GaGwP) is a state-wide, non profit trade association which represents contractors who are engaged in the design, sales, installation, maintenance, service and repair of water wells and irrigation systems for residential, agricultural, mining, commercial, industrial and institutional customers. These are professionals whose efforts result in supplying twenty one percent (21%) of all of Georgia's water needs and help manage our groundwater resources which will play an ever increasingly important role in implementing a long-term comprehensive plan to improve Georgia's ecosystmes, water supply and water management.
GaGwP, formed in the early 1960's, has members in all corners of the state of Georgia. The membership is composed of a great diversity in sizes of member firms from the very small family owned businesses who own one drilling rig to the very large drilling contractors who have a fleet of drilling rigs and equipment. Regardless of the size, GaGwP represents the professionals in the industry who have a genuine interest in protecting the vital water resources of our state and improving the groundwater industry for both the customer and the contractor
GaGwP's goal is to protect our precious groundwater resources and promote quality and professionalism in the water well drilling industry in the state of Georgia and the demonstration of a geniune concern for the health and safety of our customers by providing quality water services.
